Our 40 suites, each with their own separate sitting area, provide stunning views overlooking the city plus an expanded seating area from which to enjoy them. Along with extra room to relax there’s also more room to work, facilitating business travelers with larger desks equipped with a printer/copier/fax machine and an upholstered swivel chair for added comfort. Food and beverage services and selections are limited in the guest suites. please contact your convention services/catering manager for details. No signage or easels are permitted in hallways or elevators. Breakouts in suites are available on limited bases. The charge for set up/breakdown is $350.00. Emergency Plan HOTEL EMERGENCY PLAN Evacuation procedures: In the event of a partial or total evacuation due to fire or other emergency situation, the following procedures will apply. -Guests are to be directed to a park across spring street. Begin the evacuation process upon hearing the general fire alarm or being given verbal instructions to evacuate. Use fire stairwells to evacuate - never use elevators. Walk, do not run. Stay calm. Always place your hand on the back of the door before opening the door. If it is hot, do not open the door; find an alternate route. If you enter a smoke filled area, seek another exit route if possible. If you must pass through an area congested by smoke, cover your mouth and nose with a towel or piece of clothing, dampened with water, if possible. Crawl low along the wall to the exit, using the walls and doorways as a guide in case you are unable to see due to smoke or power loss. Ensure that fire doors are not blocked open. Proceed to the designated evacuation assembly areas. Report anyone stranded to the Fire Control Room, Emergency Response Team member or Fire Department personnel. In the event you are unable to evacuate due to a blocked exit or other barrier, try to enter a guest room or other area free from fire and smoke. Immediately call Security at extension 0 and advise them of your situation and location. Once in the room, start to fill the bathtub with as much water as possible. Soak towels, sheets or other fabric in the water and place the wet fabric in the cracks between the door and the floor, frame, etc. Turn off the heat or air-conditioning unit. Cover the vent with wet towels or sheets. Do not open the window or try to break the glass unless directed by Fire Department personnel. Shipping and Receiving: The Westin Peachtree Plaza is pleased to accept and store all boxes and shipments required for scheduled meetings/programs according to the following policies: All boxes must be labeled with group name, date of program, group on-site contact as well as the Catering or Convention Service representative in charge of your meeting/group. The hotel cannot accept responsibility for acceptance and/or storage of boxes received more than three (3) days prior to the scheduled start date of the meeting/program. After your event, any boxes to be shipped out of the hotel must be properly packaged and labeled with shipping address, return address and method of payment on your departure date. The hotel is not responsible for packing or for supplying any packing materials. Any materials left behind without shipping instructions will be discarded three (3) business days after your departure date. Meeting Professionals MUST notify their Catering or Convention Service representative of any shipments to the hotel at minimum of seven (7) days prior to the event. All Exhibitors, Vendors, and Attendees of a Convention or Trade Show in which an outside drayage company/decorator is utilized MUST ship all their freight and materials through their decorator. Please do not ship directly to the hotel, as all packages will be turned over to the drayage/production company assigned to the event. It is highly recommended that the Meeting Professional is advised of this and communicates this with all Exhibitors. Catering or Convention Service representative must review the Exhibitor Service Kit prior to distribution to Exhibitors by customer or official drayage/decorator. Packages should be received during regular business hours: Mon-Fri @ 7:00am – 4:30pm, and Saturday @ 9:00am – 1:00pm. If third party Vendors are used for office equipment such as copy machines, computers, faxes, the hotel cannot be responsible for moving them due to liability. Clients must notify the company of this and ensure that the product is picked up prior to the ending time of their contracted meeting space/office. In addition, these companies must load and unload to final meeting room destination. Payment for this service must be established prior to receiving our package(s). All packages will be held until a payment method has been confirmed.
Exhibits: The freight elevator measures 8’ wide x 7’11” high x 19’11” deep, and the elevator door access measurements are 8’ wide x 7’11” high. The freight elevator has direct access to the Exhibit Hall. The freight elevator also has access to the service area adjacent to the Atlanta Ballroom and the Peachtree Ballroom, and the dimensions of the largest unobstructed entry into the interior space of the Ballroom are 8’3” high and 16’ wide. The service elevator on the loading dock has access to all major meeting room floors. This elevator measures 4’7” wide x 7’2” deep. The entry door is 4’ wide. The ceiling is 8’ high with a 3’x3’ recess in the center adding another 2’ of height. A complete range of electrical services are available through psav. The Westin Peachtree Plaza does not have a preferred general contractor, and groups may use any licensed contractor of their choice. Your Convention Services Manager can make recommendations of local service contractors.

PSAV is the exclusive provider of electrical services at The Westin Peachtree Plaza. Contact the convention services/catering department or psav for rate sheets and exhibitor order forms. Fax the form to 404-589-7452 or email All equipment, regardless of source of power, must comply with federal, state and local codes. PSAV reserves the right to inspect all electrical devices and connections to ensure compliance with all codes. PSAV is required to refuse connections if wiring is not in accordance with local electrical codes. Use of open clip sockets, lates or lamp cord wire, duplex or triplex attachment plugs, or non u.i. approved equipment is prohibited. It is the responsibility of the production company to provide a listing of all power requirements two weeks prior to the show. There is a charge for electrical hook-up. Trade show orders for electricity must be submitted to psav directly from each exhibitor. Re-selling of psav services is strictly prohibited.
